Our Story
Athan and Jackie met through Tinder. At the time, Jackie had never been on Tinder, but was curious to see what the hype is all about. She landed on Athan's profile, and did not realize that it only meant to have one line on it. She thought there was more and was trying to scroll upwards with her right hand. It turns out, she ended up super liking him when she only wanted to see if there was more to his profile. From then, it took about a month before they went on their first date.
They decided to keep it casual by going to Demetres for some dessert. Since the time at Demetres was pretty short and they still wanted to spend more time together, Jackie suggested they go to the game room at her apartment to play pool so they can continue chatting. Clearly, the first date went pretty well and the rest is history!
In May of 2022, as they were getting ready to leave their glamping pod at Long Point Eco-Adventures, Athan surprised Jackie with a proposal.
They are very excited to start the next chapter of their lives together and can't wait to celebrate with you in November!
